(570 WSYR) A suspect has been charged and arraigned in the death of a Syracuse woman whose neighbors heard her screaming before her body was found. Johanna Pagan, 38, was found dead by police in a vacant apartment at 121 Gertrude Street. Pagan had been stabbed.
37 year old Talarico Young - seen running from the apartment by witnesses - pled not guilty to second-degree murder in Syracuse City Court this morning. Young is accused of stabbing Pagan multiple times in the chest and back. Syracuse police are holding a news conference about the homicide.
