One Person Injured In Car Fire At Syracuse Police Garage

A fire at a Syracuse police garage severely damaged two police cars and injured one person.

Syracuse police chief Frank Fowler says one of their mechanics was at work at the city's Patrol East facility and something caused two vehicles there to ignite. The mechanic was hospitalized with minor burns, and fire officials say the building sustained minor to moderate damage. They say at least two cars were heavily damaged.
