Nursing Assistant Charged With Harming Nursing Home Patient

The state attorney general's office says a Syracuse woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a disabled person.

Documents say Lisa Bloodworth, who is a certified nursing assistant, was transporting a Rosewood Heights Health Center resident. Due to the resident's condition, she slumped forward in the seat. Bloodworth at first restrained her with an arm but later pulled the resident upright by her hair a number of times. Witnesses said that while the resident could not verbally express pain, it was obvious from her facial expressions.
