More Flooding Possible For Mohawk River

The National Weather Service has posted flood warnings for the the Mohawk River.

Moderate flooding is expected to continue through Monday morning. Over two dozen roads in Oneida, Herkimer and Madison counties remain closed or restricted due to flooding. Rain and thunderstorms are forecast in upstate New York through the Fourth of July.

Searchers continue to look for the body of an 87-year-old woman whose mobile home was swept away Friday by flash flooding in Fort Plain in the Mohawk Valley. Officials say 70 buildings were damaged by the flood.
