Liverpool, NY - Liverpool Public Library's annual fall used book sale is back with a new name and location!

The Really BIG Book Sale will be on Saturday, September 28 from 9am-5pm, and Sunday, September 29 from Noon-3pm at Liverpool Elementary School, 910 2nd St (Rte 370), Liverpool NY.  Admission is free (except for the Early Bird and Gator's Gala).

Liverpool Public Library is partnering with the Liverpool Elementary School Parent Faculty Organization (LESPFO) for this two-day used book sale. There will be two years' worth of books - over 100,000 items - for sale including hardcover fiction and nonfiction, paperbacks, children's books, CDs, and more.

The location of the Really Big Book Sale (formerly know as the "Down Under" Sale) has moved from the library's underground garage to the Liverpool Elementary School, 910 2nd St (Rte 370), Liverpool, NY, only seven blocks from the library! The sale will now be indoors in the school's gym and cafeteria and there will be plenty of free parking.

The one thing that hasn't changed are the great prices. Prices on Saturday will be $1.50 hardcover books (except children's), $1.00 children's hardcover books, audiobooks, CDs, software, DVDs, 50¢ paperbacks. Sunday is the $5 bag sale. Payment is by cash or check (with ID). No credit cards will be accepted.

There will be a GATOR'S GALA RECEPTION on Friday, September 27 from 6:30-8:30pm. Tickets are $15 advance sale, $20 at door. Advance sale tickets are available at the library. (Cash or check made out to LESPFO). Enjoy refreshments and entertainment from 6:30-7:30pm and shop for books until 8:30pm.

There is also an EARLY BIRD on Saturday, September 28 from 8-9am - $10 at the door.

The book donation drop off at the library is closed while the staff prepares for the sale. The library requests that people who wish to donate books please hold on to them until the drop off reopens on October 1st. All proceeds will benefit the Liverpool Public Library and the LESPFO.
