A 56-year-old man has been charged with fatally shooting his son during an argument at a northern New York home.
The Lewis County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Lyle Davoy Jr. and his father were arguing last night inside the home in the town of Watson, on the western boundary of the Adirondack Park
Deputies say the son left the house and was shot outside by the elder man using a 20-gauge shotgun. The younger man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say Lyle Davoy Sr. has been charged with second-degree murder. He's being held without bail in the county jail. It couldn't be determined if he had a lawyer.
