Investigators Release Names In Fatal Two-Car Accident In Palermo

The Oswego County Sheriffs Department has released the names of the victims in a two-car crash in Palermo that claimed two lives.

Deputies say a 1998 Buick driven by Cory Porter of Fulton was northbound on State Route 3 when he lost control and drove into the path of a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. That collision killed his passengers, Zachary Parker and Jennifer Burdick of Fulton.  Porter was hospitalized for his injuries.  Terri Wills of Scriba, the Trailblazer driver, was treated at the scene and released.

Several rescue squads and first responders were called to the scene including State Police, and the Palermo Fire Department. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
