Two Central New Yorkers have entered a guilty plea after being charged this year with a bank robbery spree that encompassed two states.

21 year old Zacharia Edwards of Frankfort and 21 year old Nicholas Ferrone of Utica entered thier pleas in Federal Court in Syracuse on Wednesday.

They're accused of robbing at least seven banks in Central New York and Massachusetts since the first of the year.

Among the banks robbed in Central New York since January, according to federal prosecutors:

- Chase Bank, Court Street, Syracuse on January 14th. $2,156 stolen.

- Chase Bank, East Genesee Street, Dewitt on January 28th. $4,680 stolen.

-M&T Bank, West Taft Road, Syracuse on March 4th. $3,446 stolen.

Both Edwards and Ferrone have been held without bail since thier arrests in March after a mutli-agency investigation that included several police agencies and the FBI.

Both will be sentenced in October where they could get twenty years behind bars and a 250 thousand dollar in fine on each count.
