Green Party To Push Voter Regisration On Giant Trike

Onondaga County's Green Party will call attention to National Voter Registration Day today - on a giant tricycle.

Green Party candidates will be pedaling their industrial scale tricycle hauler, decked out with campaign placards, around Marshall Square from 11am to 1pm today. The voter registration effort is focused on Marshall Street to reach both SU and ESF students who might not yet be registered or not registered locally.

Green party candidates will encourage students who attend college in Syracuse to register and vote in Syracuse. The "Pedal Power Green Trike" will make stops in other neighborhoods throughout the day to encourage residents to register and vote.
